CRUISE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD

My first cruise from the Port of Miami was in 1974. This was the era of the AIR/SEA cruise. We flew from Philadelphia to MIA on a cold December morning for our two week cruise on Royal Caribbean's Sun Viking. This was small-ship cruising and doubt most folks today would venture out on a 18,500 ton, 563' foot long ship, let alone for two weeks.
